Zwolle Queens named

An aunt and her niece shared honors as the 2014 Miss Logger Queen and Junior Miss Logger Queen at the 2015 Zwolle Loggers and Forestry Festival on May 10.

Victoria Sepulvado, 17-year-old daughter of Todd and Amber Sepulvado, was named Queen, and Canada Sepulvado, daughter of Tim and Mattie Sepulvado, is the Junior Queen.

Todd is the son of Zwolle logging contractor Tim Sepulvado, thus the Queen and Junior Miss are Mattie and Tim's daughter and granddaughter, probably a first in the Festival annals.

Queen Victoria is a senior at Converse High School, and Canada is a seventh grader at Zwolle High School. They were presented during the honors ceremony at the Festival pavilion, along with other honor guests during the Festival.

The 20th annual Zwolle Loggers and Forestry Festival events included a parade, featuring several floats from visiting pageants, antique cars, decorated log trucks, and horseback riders, as well as the loaded log truck, with cash prizes foe guessing weight of the load.

Equipment displays, food booths, and crafts were among the things to see.
